(So this is the middle game of an extremely obscure set of old GBA games Konami made back in the day.The remake is here because it comes with a lot of quality of life upgrades that I feel the original game sorely needed.) (Live a Live has one of my favorite mic drop moments in any JRPG and the entire thing is very unique due to its "every chapter is its own contained story" method. It's a bit janky due to being a PS2 action RPG but it does a lot of things well. (The new Blaster Master games are all fantastic if a bit on the easy side, but 3 is the most exciting one in my opinion.).While I believe Advance and especially PS1 Tactics have better stories, this has a significantly improved law system that makes gameplay more engaging.) There's probably a LOT more, but that's all my brain and my memory is giving me right now. Heroes of Might and Magic III, V, and VI.League of Legends (Please pull me out of this hole). Most "Tales of" games, but especially Tales of Xilia.(in no strict order, but roughly assembled from best to "least best") Here are also some more honorable mentions, some of which are very close to also getting into the top 10: ![]() Empire Earth (was never really the "Age of Empires" type). The entire King's Bounty franchise (except the newest game, King's Bounty 2). ![]()
